- New Life II, black-owned, faith-based, peer-led Christian recovery community organization in New Britain.
- Adult & Teen Challenge Connecticut on 64 acres in Moodus, CT is among 10 locations in every New England state and NJ. Through Christ’s power, staff have offered freedom from addiction since 1964.
- Celebrate Recovery ministries in Avon, Bethel, Bristol, Hartford, New Haven, and Southbury present 8 principles based on the Beatitudes for recovery from “life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits”. More than 7 million now walk in freedom through the power of Jesus Christ.
- Community of Hope in Groton gives residential help to women affected by abuse, addiction and homelessness, to re-establish life in a living environment that reflects the love of a family.
- His Oaks Home, faith based home in Eastford for men in recovery while planting seeds for success.
Community Service
- Care Net Resource Center of SE CT shares the gospel with women faced with the pregnancy decision. Part of a network of 1,200 affiliated pregnancy centers.
- Safe Futures gives free and confidential services, support, and safety to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and trafficking in southeastern Connecticut.
- the Underground NE is a faith-based non-profit organization that exists to eradicate human trafficking in Connecticut and New England through awareness, prevention, and intentional survivor support.
- Urban Alliance has opportunities in the Hartford area for people to achieve lasting change in their lives. It trains and supports second chance churches.
- Bridgeport Rescue Mission demonstrates the love of God to the hungry, homeless, and addicted on the streets of the coast of Connecticut.
- St. Vincent De Paul Place in Norwich gives food assistance, case management, showers, hygiene, and more to patrons struggling with homelessness, unemployment, physical or mental disabilities, underemployment and addiction issues.

- Kairos Prison Ministry served men and women inside prior to being told it could not by the Department of Correction November 2023 and continues to serve women outside whose husbands are incarcerated and youth.
- Prison Fellowship Angel Tree “equips local churches to personally deliver a gift and the Gospel to children on behalf of their incarcerated parents … to give an Angel Tree child a Christmas to remember!” It “supports relationships between a prisoner and family year round.”

- Homebridge Ventures walk-in center in Bridgeport offers returning citizens second chance intensive 18-month training and employment.

Dan, many ex-prisoners and High School Grads, are un-skilled forcing them to work for minimum wages, or selling drugs.
Christian business men/women should form a “Skill Training Opportunity Ministry” as part of their church’s Outreach.
This is very important for the health of Towns and Cities.
The Guild System turned out Journeymen who became Masters, and our Nation was built with their skills.
It is vital to offer this alongside Bible Studies. We forget, Jesus was a Carpenter for 30 years, and Paul was a Tent Maker.
